For those who may not know how the original artwork of Biggie was created, it was drawn by hand in ballpoint pen (over the course of 300 hours), see image below, also for more information & for limited edition prints, see this page here.

“Big Biro Biggie’s Bigger Brother”

After Finishing the original ballpoint drawing I did of Biggie I decided to go even bigger with this artwork. I created a one off print of my drawing of Biggie but with no background, so I then proceeded over three weeks using paint brushes, ballpoint pens, spray paints, markers, crayons etc etc to add detailed additions, designs, and paint works & marks to create a lively customized background for this ‘Biggie’

As below shows there was a mixture of detailed ballpoint drawing as well as large paint styles that went into the background for this artwork.

This then when into the antique Gold frame seen in top photo. The artwork was then exhibited at a 2-man show titled “RAW”, Artworks by Paul Cummings & me (photos from exhibition on Facebook here).
