This is a very special one off lightbox I decided to create. Above – the first image is of it turned OFF, then turned ON, detail ON, lastly a close up of the artwork.
To create this I first used imagery from my Grandly Grimey exhibition to digitally create and add a new background to the artwork. Then it was reverse printed onto acrylic, this was added on top of high end LED panel with a diffuser layer in between to create an even illumination. Lastly it was fitted with a restored antique frame around it with hand painted black & Gold wooden filler.
This artwork looks as good turned off as it does turned on. Details:
