About The Original Drawing
he original drawing/artwork (video showing it made below) “No ID Bunny” was mainly drawn ballpoint pen for solo exhibition “A Decade of Shady Business” in 2019. For more information on the original see this page here. In the original, fabric patches were place over her eyes, the idea behind this action is to subvert the import that celebrity has in society. By censoring her eyes her identity SO associated with fame, image consciousness, and vanity is addressed. A Giclee print is created of the original drawing where her eyes are visible, then using pens, inks, & paints artwork is done by hand ov er the eyes making each print different & unique.
