My biggest show yet – in terms of both the quantity of work AND with the scale of the artworks
The exhibition opens on Thursday 2nd September at Art Catto Gallery and runs for 6-8 weeks.
The beautiful and spacious gallery is located next to the popular beach side resorts of Val Do Lobo and Quinta Do Lago, the gallery is known as the finest art gallery in the Algarve. Gillian Catto, who after 30 years as the owner of the internationally recognised and respected – The Catto Gallery in London, decided to settle in the Algarve and opened Artcatto in Loulé, Portugal.
The exhibition is being put on and organized with the help of Wonky Dog Productions.We went out to Portugal in May to meet with Gill Catto, view the gallery properly and make our plans with her and the gallery team. 
It was a wonderful visit, just inside the Green light window, for the Covid travel rules. Obviously by September we are hoping the travel restrictions will again be lifted for Portugal but if not then the show will still go ahead.
I will have about 30 artworks on show in total. Most of these being originals / unique pieces (and many of these being over 100cm, a couple over 150cm even).
Work on the artworks began in December 2019, after my last solo exhibition in Fitzrovia, London. One of the artworks on show took over 460 drawing hours to complete (more info here). Must be over 5,000 man hours in total across all the artworks..!

“Something Untitled”? Yes, this is the title of the show. I’ve never been a fan of the tradition of having a different and specific theme for every exhibition. The last 18 months I have been producing this work has been more of an organic growth curve in the way the artwork is created rather than driving at a particular topic.
Purchasing Artworks. You will only be able to acquire artwork once the gallery releases the official catalogue/ price lists which will likely be in the lead up to the opening. You may recognize this artwork from a recent print release but the original (above) has been kept aside on purpose for this exhibition. It will be for sale along with everything else around the exhibition opening time.
UPDATE – 17/08/21
Today all the artworks have been collected by the international shipping company and are now on their way to the gallery in preparation for the opening, just over 2 weeks from today.
